When I send something to our large format plotter at work, the file spools EXTREMELY SLOW. I'm talking only 4k per second.

The files I'm sending are AutoCad2000. I'm using Win2000 and the plotter is a HP DJ 650c. Our computers are networked and the plotter is on a computer acting as a dedicated print server.

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

try changing the driver..hp has driver's w/Autocad..or go to your printer settings..right click, properties..details, spool settings..choose print directly to printer.. this should speed it up a bit..
