pls help me recover pics from my smart card card

    If your camera shows up in Windows Explorer as a removeable drive (e.g in XP, 2k or ME), you don't need a card reader.

    As you provide no clue as to what operating system you use, its going to be a hard road to help though.

    as kiwiguy said... it shows in windows explorer and you'll see your extra drive existing..an am sure it is your memory cad..
    be sure that it is connected to your computer..lol!

    I'm using XP pro. under "my Computer" it shows up as a camera and not a drive. it deos not have a drive letter assiged to it.

    FOR KIDCNOTE...yeah I did the search too...that shows it as a keyboard and mouse??????what the hell does that have to do with getting pics and video clips off camera

    i guees the mouse and keyboard come up because it has the numbers 510 as part of the model number ie MX510 is a mouse & S510 is a keyboard. i dont have either or even knew they existed

    my webcam/camera is a clicksmart 510

    try this ...picasa2...a free program that will search you whole computer for pictures...install the program and at the end of the install it will ask if you want it to get all of the pictures on your computer...tell it yes..be sure your camera is connected at the time...let it run ...might take 5 minutes or so...works good

    What happens if you double click the icon with the card in the camera?
    Do you have the camera software installed? (Get it HERE if you haven't)
    Has it ever worked?

    i do have the software installed and if i click on the icon it wont do anything. it worked perfectly for like 3yrs until the last time i used it. i dont want to take any pics now until i can determine if the pics are really gone forever.

    im gonna take the smart card out and try it with a reader

    i have picasa ....will give it a shot when i get home...tnx!
