Close all applications and browser windows before you click "fix checked".

Go to Internet Options, Programs
Click the "Reset Web Settings" Button to reset your home and search pages.

Restart in Safe Mode

Open Windows Explorer. Go to Tools, Folder Options and click on the View tab.
Make sure that "Show hidden files and folders" is checked.
Also uncheck "Hide protected operating system files".
Now click "Apply to all folders", Click "Apply" then "OK"

Delete these folders:
C:\Program Files\Winad Client
C:\Programme\Web_Rebates
C:\WINDOWS\System32\P2P Networking

Reboot and post another log.

The one you can't read is german:- refers to a memopad that I have on my desktop.
I have checked all the ones you told me to & til now have no warning message from
180Search Assistent. If I see it again, I will let you know. I will go to your affero link
soon & hope that I don't have to bother you all too quickly again. Many thanks, nice
