I have a gmail account that was hacked (i think) by my ex girlfriend/baby mama because all the emails that we have been sending back and forth for the past few months have been erased. I also saved the facebook posting where she has been claiming that i am a dead beat dad to the whole world. I suspect it was her because they have been erased as well. how do I, 1. restore all the emails that she erased becasue they are the only proof that i have of what she has been doing to keep my daughter away from me. and 2. find out how i can prove it was her that deleted the emails with the ip addresses, or using anything else.

You probably can't do either one. IP addresses won't be available unless obtained by court order, and only Gmail can tell you if there is any possibility of restoring mail on their server.

saved emails in gmail get moved over to trash eventually & when you empty trash or gmail auto empties after 30 days, those emails are gone. i doubt seriously you have been compromised unless someone knows your password or has figured it out, which i suppose, could happen if it's an easy password.
