Hi guys i have a big problem basically when i installed kali on a virtual machine. When i turn on my laptop i get two users(before i had kali, it was only one) and i realized that user was the kali user i created on the virtual machine and when i needed to change some settings, it gives errors saying that im not the administrator. So to solve the problem i deleted my virtual machine, thinking it would delete the kali user but , its still there. I need to delete please and i forgot the password of that kali user. Can anyone help me and tell me how to solve this problem please??🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

This site has rules about helping to find passwords.
Sorry.

https://forums.techguy.org/help/rules/
Please do not ask for assistance with (or ways to bypass) a forgotten or unknown password, personal identification number (PIN) or any other type of access code that may be required on a computer, mobile device or web site. As there is no way to verify the actual situation or intent, no assistance will be provided and any such threads will be closed.

As I read it, you are not actually requiring help with the forgotten password for the Kali OS
As my colleague says - we cannot actually help you find that password, and in any case the Kali OS is no longer installed as you have deleted the virtual machine.

Are you saying that the two users shown on the windows 10 log in screen are definitely one from Kali and one from windows 10
The reason I ask is that there are other reasons why two users, both of the same name can be shown at the 10 log in screen

I do not know which virtual machine software you used or the included Micorsoft one
Does this help you

Finally as my colleague said - the reason we cannot help with the actual recovery of the password - albeit it may not indeed be possible now the VM has been deleted is because as mentioned in the rule
As there is no way to verify the actual situation or intent

and I am sure you would not be happy if we assisted someone to gain unauthorised access to your computer.

Good luck with it.
