I have been getting some plug in error message here in the last few days.
The messages come in after I try to down load something off of the internet.
It read with a red x advising that the plug in did not initialize properly
when I try again to down load it gives me another red x message stating the plug in was found but an error in the plug in has occurred.

I am running windows me with dsl an internet explore as my ip.

What are you trying to download, something that will open with a plug in or just downloading to your hard drive.

Have you installed or upgraded quicktime lately

People have been having problems like yours after downloading and installing quicktime as of late.

You know that is funny , now that I think about it the problems have been starting since Installed the real player.
What have the other members done to correct this problem, have they uninstalled the real players?

I have seen that exact thing happen. I was trying to down load a simple addition to my need for speed Porsche unleashed. It was a simple 1.32mb of another car out of gamespot.com and out of zdnet.com
