Hi .Iam replacing a video card to day. I have a Philips MT1400. I haved done this before so the card is in ok. My problem is that my computer man unplugged something so that my computer could run on its internal video whatever. there are plenty of plugs - numbered and i am guessing it is one of these which needs switching over .I have a P3 going in to the hard drive above the motherboard and there are two same sized plugs P2 and P5 which are unplugged at the moment one of which could fit there .The P5 could also fit into a plug which is currently filled by P4 which also splits off in to the P5. (that is behind the right corner front of the computer. I can understand if that sounds confusing , hope you can help best wishes Justinius.

Should be nothing "unplugged". All you should have to do is move the monitor cable to the new video card.

With that said, depending on the video card being used, it may require a power cable. And if it does, it's possible the OEM power supply isn't powerful enough.
