Hi Everyone,
My DVD writer is Samsung TSST SH-S182D. Lately it has started writing erroneous DVDs.I am copying AVI files, some DIVx files on the DVD as DATA DVD in Nero. Now it starts writing normally but halfway it will stop or take long hours 9-10 hrs to write and then also give me disc full of errors.I am using good media to write, I have cleaned the lens using good quality lens cleaner also i have updated the firmware. What may be the problem? I am pasting one of the log. I have got few suggestions on another site, but those didn't helped (http://club.cdfreaks.com/f7/plz-help-dvd-writer-writing-errornous-disks-276513/)

Until you try a new or known working dive ...other than the problem one ...so we can eliminate the drive as the problem.........would help a lot and yes I read through your link

First of all I thank you Megabite for your dedicated follow up of my problem.
Now, as you said to check with some good drive, that won't be possible, because my friends are skeptical about using their drives on my PC. They only option in this case would be to buy a new one which i would like to be the last resort. Hope you understand whats on my mind.
