I ended up getting alot of pop-ups on my computer again. I think I got most of the problems, because I ran spybot and hijack this. There was some weird stuff in my latest hijack this scan, so I figured I'd post it and find out what was wrong.

Thanks.

First, you are running a very old version of HiJackThis. Go Here and download the latest version. Install it in it's own permanent folder.

Also download LSPFix Here. You will need it later.

Close all other programs and run a new HJT scan. Post it here in a reply to this thread.

This object is also a baddie (parasite). Have HJT fix it too.

O16 - DPF: {00000EF1-0786-4633-87C6-1AA7A44296DA} - http://mx253.sb03.com/apps/softsear...one_bw_pop1.cab

Restart your computer and post a new HJT scan.

BTW... I'm not seeing any indication of an antivirus program or a firewall. You really should have both installed and running.

I recommend that you first run an online AV scan to ensure you are virus free. Go Here and do an online virus scan
IMPORTANT NOTE: Be sure and put a check in the box by "Auto Clean" before you do the scan. If it finds anything that it cannot clean have it delete it or make a note of the file location so you can delete it yourself.

Now go Here and downlod/install AVG antivirus program which will provide day to day virus protection.

Now go Here and download/install ZoneAlarm firewall.

It's also recommended you activate the Immunize feature of Spybot along with installation of it's companion program, SpyWareBlaster. You can get SpyWareBlaster Here. Be sure to update both programs when you install and then update regularly.

I think all the 016 entries are safe to remove as they are plugins.

just a thought ;)

This is true, as they will be recreated if and when they are needed.

Ok, I ran the online antivirus and six viruses showed up as uncleanable:

2 of them were BKDR SANDBOX.A, 3 were JAVA BYTEVER.A and 1 was TROJ SUA.A

I already have AVG, but I think it's a fairly old version, because it didn't pick up anything.

I couldn't find HuntBar in the Add/Remove section, but I searched for the program and think that I got rid of it.

Here's my new Hijack This scan.

I'm trying to download Zonealarm, but it's telling me that the "Validation failed for C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\VSINIT.DLL"

I'm not sure what that means, but I'm still running into alot of pop-ups so I'd like to download a firewall.

Thanks for all of your help.

I was able to pick up adaware, but I have two files that keep showing up when I run it and when I run spybot. I've tried to delete them about 5 times now and they keep coming back. I'm still running into trouble with popups, so I was wondering what the best way to get rid of them would be.

Here is my adware scan. I put the two that keep showing up in bold.:
