pop up ads

I have been reading, doing a search on pop up ads. There are a few programs out there but they say they are for 9x and NT.

Stupid question; does that mean that they will work on win XP Pro also?

Can someone please let me know?

www.proxomitron.org, works great in XP. Most others would probably work, too, but if they are so old they don't even mention XP you might want a different program,
