(pop-up) CARN~1.EXE

    everytime I log on and before I log on to internet I get this (popup) CARN~1.EXE I never run the program because I dont know where it come from ANY idea what this is or how to get rid of it?

    try and remove it from startup by going to start > all programs > remove the start up link(s). Or you can go start > run > type in msconfig > click on the startup tab > look for the process and uncheck the box next to it

    Hi stveman. I googled "CARN~1.EXE" and discerned from the information that it could be a trojan you can either post a hjt log and let the experts view it or follow this link and see if you can resolve it yourself. The choice is yours.
