So my daughter gets on some site having to do with icons and the next thing I know I'm being summoned to stop the madness as all sorts of pop ups and attempted downloads are happening on the screen. So I take action doing stuff you guys helped me with before. Ran Ad Aware and killed a bunch of stuff. Ran HJT and am submitting my log file below as there is some stuff i am not quite sure about. Please give it a look and tell me what you think.

Computer is taking forever to run some stuff like Win Explorer, so I am going to upgrade the virus scan next and run it. If you think there are other things that need doing. please let me know.

    SpyBot: http://majorgeeks.com/download2471.html

(in addition to Ad-Aware SE) :)

Install and run it. Choose "Search for updates". Next choose "Download updates". After that, choose "Search and Destroy" and click on "Check for problems". If Spybot finds any nasties on your computer, make sure that they are ticked and choose "Fix selected problems".

Then post a new log like MFDnSC said (y)

OK, So I went to the major geek site and took it a step further, doing the online virus scans, downloaded all of the ad aware, spyware, you name it. After a whole lot of downloading, scanning, and fixing still having popup issues, but starting to see where it comes from. Something called ezula is able to keep coming back for more even after these apps dump it. Also couple other things in my startup under msconfig. Working on it, but here is the new log file in the meantime.

Go here http://www.thespykiller.co.uk/ and click on Downloads to get the peper trojan uninstaller.

Just click on the uninst.exe and let it run. When it is finished it will just close. There will be no dialogue. Also you must be connected to the internet for the uninstaller to be effective.

Restart your computer and post a new HJT log.
