POP-UPS Driving me crazy

    If you run internet explorer, then download google toolbar. It has a popup blocker that is not spyware and blocks most popups. The second thing is if you run internet explorer, do you have SP2 - I see by your log you don't. You should consider getting it. ONe of the new features is a popup blocker.

    The third thing is to consider running a different browser like Mozilla or Firefox. Both are non microsoft browsers, free and have fewer problems with spyware and popups...doc

    I am still getting popups and my computer is running extremly slow...
    I click on an icon (ex: Internet Explorer) and it take minimum 3-4 minutes to open the window, then 2-3 minutes to completely load the contents of the window. Once the window is open it operates fine. Not just IE it's everything.

    Clean all the Internet temp files and delete all the cookies. This will improve the speed of browsing.

    browsing in not the problem... It's opening the window, once open i do not have any problems browsing...
