Hi

I have changed ISPs recently and the new one has limited international bandwidth. Somehow I can browse sites overseas, but I can not retrieve mail (socket error).

I can access the same mail via a web interface, and downloading the mail from there does not time out or anything, although it is slow, and a tedious process to deliver it to the correct recipient in the office. There are several aliases set up in a single pop3 account.

I would rather use pop3 to retireve the mail. I have tried changing the timeout from 1 minute to 5 minutes, and some e-mails have been downloaded. But I still get socket errors, especially when downloading the larger mails. I was wondering if there are any other tweaks I can try.

Best regards,
