Is it just my imagination or has the attempts to begin communication on about ports 1025-1035 begun to rise?

Looking over data on this I really dont see its nominal importance other then the beginning of the road or bottom of the stairs to attempt throughput communication, if you will =)

Anyone else care to take a stab at this ?

    I n c o m i n g =)

No trojans, viruses or misc ports sitting open.

Its just as I said, a Rise in miscellaneous attempts on that port spread. [Sorry for not clarifying these as inbound only attempts]

..If the good old port nuker or mail bomber still worked :D

What OS are you running? Sounds like a remote file sharing port for something like ICQ.

port 1025. tcp, listen, listener RFS remote_file_sharing
port 1025. tcp, blackjack, network blackjack

BLACK JACK! cept that is just on 1025 =/

I am getting them on 1027 to 1033 mostly... lemme peek at the last 100 or so...

Yeah, alot of them actually are my iSP attempting what seems to be normal routing of DNS/connection alive info tho.

But alot of them are not.... =/

Oh well .. when I get enuff intel on on a block I'll take care of it then. They were blocked and no access beyond these came about.

    Works for me...

    -Thanx Much!
