Back after a long time. Ok so here's the deal. I connect to the internet through wifi. I have a ZTE ZXDSL 531b router at home and I use that(obviously). MY problem is, in my network connections, i have two connections.

Local Area Connection- ALways shows ' a network cable is unplugged unless i plug a cable into my laptop(HP Pavillion dv6767tx) ethernet port.

Wireless Network Connection - SHows the name of my network when im connected. THis has a static ip entered already.

I have BD 2010 firewall disabled, windows firewall disabled. UPnP disabled in router page. Running windows vista. I cant seem to forward ports. On canyouseeme.org, it says connection refused.

What i want to know is that Where do I enter the static ip settings, in the Local area connection or WNC? Also, why am i not able to forward ports.

I don't know what WNC is, but you would set the static IP configuration for the connection you intend to use for the port forwarding.
