I am having an issue with my Internet. I originally had Verizon high speed Internet and everything worked fine including hulu plus and abc player on my iPad, computer, and Xbox. Then I came and had Verizon fios installed. The second they installed it and switched routers, hulu plus and abc player apps no longer work. They say that I am either using a proxy setting to search the web anonymously (which I am not) or that my IP address is not in the us (which It is, I live in PA). I have done some research, to no avail. Verizon is not really willing to help, but they mentioned that the 3rd party devices need to be rededicated to get network access, and that it had to do port forwarding. I have an Actiontec router. If anyone knows anything about this or how to set up port forwarding or has any advice it would be greatly appreciated. I am desperate! Thank you in advance.
