My PC has had a variety of strange problems since I built it about 3 weeks ago. It has, miraculously, installed xp with no problems but now (similar to previous problems) it randomly crashes and powers down completely unexpectedly and instantly (no blue screen). Could this be a ram problem? Could it be faulty? The ram isn't on the motherboard's approved ram list but a very similar product is. Any opinions would be helpful.

    Thanks,

    Joseph
