I currently have 2 pc at my house connected to internet uisng internet using router on DSL. The problem is, when i am playing BF2, i get lag when someone is browsing the internet on other pc. So i am thinking of getting a CAble internet on my pc to avoid lag issues.

It it possible to have cable and dsl internet in same house? Or do they both use telephone line? Its not gonna cost much to get cable at my house, its only 20 $ a month. I would rather ask here, and check back later rather then waiting like 30 minutes calling custormer service.

Yes you can but why don't you just switch both computers to cable instead of paying for both?

You can have multiple broadband accounts, really only limited by your budget. If you'd like two cable Internet accounts, and a couple of DSL accounts, all it takes is money, and a phone line for each DSL account. :D

thanks alot for the help. i dont wanna switch both to cable. I currently have Verizon DSL and they lowered my bill from 35 $ a month to 15 $ a month if i kept another year contract. And the cable in my area is 20 $ a month. Now i can have both and it comes out to 35 $.

and again, thanks for the help :)

Enjoy! :) Next, you'll be looking for a dual WAN router to fully utilize those dual connections. :D
