possible virus.. trojans even? hijack log included

    Okay been having major troubles with virus, trojans etc ever since i got this computer fixed.. i got a new motherboard, cpu, power cords, ram, hard drive etc.. but it seems every day i get at least 2 virus'.. here is my hijack log i am running winxp with ie 6
    any help would be appreciated.. thanks i have run housecalls.. and it freezes up and the computer shuts down when i get to the c:/system volume part..

    there is a new hijackthis version 1.97.3 www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/

    you have gator spyware installed on your comp , try using spybot and adaware to uninstall it

    close all internet explorer browsers and let hijackthis fix :

    regarding weathercast, it is a known adware. I would prefer to uninstall it .

    thank you.. and yes i know weather cast is adware but I like it cause i know what its like out for my kids for when they go to school. thanks for the input though..

    remember to run spybot and adaware periodically. they will help you get rid of any other dialers, trojans, bho's etc that you pick up in your travels. each one gets things the other doesn't. just think of it as part of your monthly cleanup. :)
