I've replaced my CD ROM in my HP op XP with a DVDRW. My computer now has ( 2 )
DVDRW"s.
One came equipt in the computer, the other purchased.
One is a - write, the other is a + - write with Lite-Scribe.
The hardware manager shows the two DVDRW's with not errors
and the BIOS shows the two DVDRW's
The drivers for both are up to date.
I have no problem with third party selecting which drive I want to burn to.
Windows however only sees one of the drives as a DVD and the other as a CD ROM
or read only.
I can send anything I want to the E but not F via windows.
I can send anything for F to E but not E to F via windows.
I know I can go into the properties of both and change which to record to.
The question is, why can"t windows allow both as record by selection of command
like third party does?
