Internet explorer has been crashing more and more often. My computer states that IE has encountered a problem and needs to shut down. Also, when I can get on IE, I have been redirected often. McAfee Antivirus software detects a buffer overflow and I have to disable buffer overflow protection to get IE to even come up.

    McAfee states: C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe:KERNEL32.GetProcAddress BO:Writable BO:Heap

Not sure what is going on, but I suspect Malware of some type. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I forgot to mention that I cannot install Internet Service Pack 3 for some reason, not sure if it is related
