My laptop can be switched on as normal, and I see the button light up and hear the fan's whirling noises. Nothing appears on the screen and then the laptop switches off. (It makes the noise it usually makes once I've switched it off myself. I have ruled out the fact it could be over heating because i have cleaned out the fan i recntly had an issue with boot up but i re installed windows from a bootable usb and it was fine for about 24 hours. It started off switching off randomly when i tried to enter my hard drive folders then it started switching off when i right clicked(every time) weird i know then it just got worse and does as i explained at the start any ideas people !?? comepletely NEW PROBLEM

video chip is dead.
To confirm, attach an external monitor and see if you can get a display. Check what function key controls this. On the netbook I'm currently using, it is F5.
