I would like to know what Graphics card and power supply is compatible with an Acer Aspire M3450? I have bought a EVGA Geforce GTX 650 graphics card, but I know I need to upgrade the power supply also, and I need to know would be the best inexpensive power supply that I could install for it? The graphics card says it has to have a minumum of 20 amps on the +12 volt rail. I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks
I would think you are installing this card for gaming. Gaming and cheap/inexpensive are mutually exclusive terms. If you are going to game with this system, you need a quality pw supply. Here is an example of what you need; http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139031
You do need to understand that acer uses low end ie junk parts in their systems and even with a gtx650, you might not be satisfied with the performance of the system.
