My laptop (Predator Helios 300, i7-7700HQ, 16Gb DDR4, GTX 1060, 256GB SSD + 1TB HDD) doesn't start up for some reason. So I wanted to start it in safemode so I can backup my crucial data before formatting my pc. When it started "Preparing Automatic Repair" it went to a black screen with only the mouse cursor. It doesn't get further than that. If I repair or reinstall Windows 10 using a flash drive, will I loose my original license key?

No.

Use the Lazesoft File Manager to recover your files, then try the Fix.

"It is very common for PC users to be faced with a Windows crash. When this happens, the dreaded 'Blue Screen of Death' pops up, or your PC has a black screen and can not boot or start up"
