It's got to be a printer attribute. You get to the attributes by using Control Panel, Printer, and right click the printer, and select Properties. Or from an application select File, Print, and Properties.

    Look here

    Start
    Settings
    Printers
    File
    Server Properties
    Advanced
    Uncheck Notify
Click ok and close the printers box

Reboot to enable the new settings.

You might have to click on each printer and look at the server properties.
