Laptop has been upgraded to XP. Problem occurs when attempting to print multiple documents (i.e., 3 Word Files) from Explorer. Select files, select print, nothing happens. Files do not even hit Windows print queue... Can select one document and print without issue, but unable to select several.... :(

    Any thoughts?

Is the printer set to begin printing immediately or wait for the entire print job? Did you update the printer drivers to XP as well?

Also verify that print spooler service is set to auto and running in control panel / administrative tools / services. Also verify in the printer settings that collation is on or enabled.

    Hiya Genius,

Perhaps selecting the files and dragging them onto a printer icon will do the trick???

That's what I usually do to print multiple Word docs.

    Goos luck.

Open the files in Word and print from there.

The problem also occurs in Word. Cannot print multiple documents via a single request.

Have you also got Office XP?

Did you try selecting the files in Explorer and dropping them on your printer?
