Can anybody help.
I have a customers PC running Win98. They have received an email with a nasty attachment. Needles 2 say they have activated it. The nasty appears in the start up as a app called `guy`. every time the machine is booted up, it prints 200 odd pages out on the default printer. Deleting the file is no good as a new one is created everytime the machine is booted up, and again 200 odd pages of gooblegook print out.
I guess there is osmething in registry creating this file. Has anybody come accross this and if so how does one get rid of it.

go to RUN and type msconfig. click on the startup tab. see if there is anything that matches that file name in the list there. if there is uncheck it and that will at least keep it from starting then we just need to find a way to get it off your pc
