I just spent about 12 hours getting my friends Windows ME pc back up and running smooth after a virus attack and a couple years of neglect and uninstalling programs by deleting files and the like. Of course, I couldn't have done it without the help of the TSG folks.

Anyhow, one of the things causing spool errors was his Epson Stylus Color 440 printer. The driver was for a Win98 machine and he somehow got it on the ME OS.

Now he want's to reinstall it after I manually had to remove every file relating to the printer to get rid of the spool error. I told him he can't because it'll cause problems. I can't find a ME driver for this printer.

    My question is:
Can it be run with the Win98 driver on a ME machine and if not does anyone know where if possible I can get a ME driver for this printer?

My friend is a stroke victim so he has trouble comprehending the fact that it may not be able to be done.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks and God bless,
    Peter
