I have a Lexmark all in one X 63 printer copyer scanner faxer! I scan a photograph to my cile=then when it prints the photo, it is so dark and dumps way to much ink. I have checked the paper quality-photo quality and all of that, still didnt help. Then I thought ok-I would "copy" and it did the same exact thing. Way to dark. I remember reading at one time a way to set both comp and printer to print exactly what you saw on you're comp screen, would anyone know. Especially, why wouldnt it "copy" like the photo looked? Need some EXPERT help! I have uninstalled and re-installed the printer and Lexmark couldnt help-didnt know!!Imagine that!!!:D

Hiya and welcome

Which version of Windows are you running?

Also, have you checked that the nozzles on the cartridges aren't blocked?

Regards

Hi Eddie-Thanks so much for a reply-thought maybe everyone had left us.
I use windows 98 second edition. I cleaned the cartridge nozzles and re-aligned the printer-but it still didnt print what I saw on the computer screen. I think even more surprising is even when I "copied" it-shouldnt that have made it exactly like the photograph that I ran through? That one didnt even go through the computer. Thank you again. Hope you can help,
