A simple laser printer like Samsung or brother will do the job

Samsung laser starts at $130 and Brother laser printers start at $100. I'm not sure if Clownjimbo considers this inexpensive.

It would have been helpful if he had posted a price range.

They are inexpensive in the Netharlnads, so it's a country issue :)
My local PC vendor offers me a Brother for under €75 with an extra toner cartridge
I also had an offer for a Samsung for that price too, so...

Since the OP is in the US (SOMERS, CT) the state of Connecticut , you have to consider US prices.

I don't think I've ever seen a printer that didn't have a set up for envelopes.
Perhaps the better question would have been:
Has anyone used and can recommend, or not, envelope printing with a particular machine?

I always used a local print house. I'd just send a diskette or whatever with the wording of the letter I wanted and the names and addresses.
They'd print them, stuff them, sort, and frank them saving some of the postal costs as well.
