I just bought a new printer which I need for school... unfortunately thought it claims to be windows XP compatible I don't see it in the list of printers supported by windows XP! It doesnt get detected in Plug and Play and I don't know whether there is a problem with my USB ports or what?

The printer is an HP PSC 1350... I installed the software that came with the printer however I can't configure windows properly for the printer itself... as well the printer seems to think that it has no ink cartridges even though I installed them properly, but thats another matter entirely...

Any help on how i can get this printer to work for XP would be greatly, greatly appreciated! I need to get this working for school!

    (y) Thanks so much for any help!!! (y)

Check the HP website for updates. I had a similar problem with a printer and had to update in order to get mine to work.
