Printer keeps saying there's no ink, but there is

    It won't print because it says there's not enough ink, but I know it is full because I just replaced it. When I took another cartridge out to compare it, it TOO now says that there's not enough ink in that cartridge, and it needs to be replaced, but I know that's not true.

    Try turning off the printer for a minute and then turning it back on and see if that clears the problem.

    If that doesn't resolve the problem you will probably need to tell us the manufacturer and the exact model number of the printer to get any kind of further assistance.

    EDIT: Also let us know if you are using new ink cartridges made by the printer manufacturer or cartridges made or refilled by another company.
