I have a Lexmark 1150 All-In-One that had been working perfectly. It seems as though after I installed the XP SP2 update on my desktop the problem began, although I'm not sure this caused the problem. When I try to print anything from any program I get an error message that the computer is not communicating with the printer. However I can scan without any problems. If I switch the USB connection from the printer to my laptop (I run win98 second edition on the laptop), it works perfectly! As I said, the only change I made was updating my XP. There are no problems indicated on my device manager as far as the USB port used for the printer on the desktop. Any suggestions??

Yes I did. In fact, I uninstalled the whole print program that came with the printer and re-installed it. The drivers are in the program.
