I have an HP all in one 3050 J610 printer and use a laptop running Windows 7 bought a few weeks ago. I simply cannot get the printer to print. It will print from the web and will also do test prints but it simply will not print from Word. I cant get any help anywhere and do not want to pay out for another one as this has hardly been used. Cant take it back to Tesco as have mislaid the receipt and HP say they do not recognise the product key.
I have searched endlessly for what may be the problem and all I can seem to gain is perhaps I need a different driver.
Please, could someone help me with this problem and if it is a driver problem how do I know which driver to install and from where? Thank you:mad:

Yes have tried with no success. Am wondering if it is a driver problem but even if it is how on earth would I know which one to download. Have heard that some printers dont have drivers for win7. Probably talking out the back of me skull I suppose.
    Thank you again:mad:

this is the basic driver for win7 64bit
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/...dlc=en&lc=en&os=4063&product=4066452&sw_lang=

heres the basic driver for win7 32bit
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/...dlc=en&lc=en&os=4062&product=4066452&sw_lang=

to find out which version of windows 7 you have
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/find-out-32-or-64-bit

you should be able to down load the driver and then double click on it and run - that will install just the driver and not all the other software - if that works - you can download the full software later to use the scanner etc

If your printer is less than a year old, HP will support you. You can talk to their live chat support online. They should be open 24/7. I had to talk to them at 4AM here.... 11AM for you :D

By the way, I have seen this before and I think it is a driver issue.

    i would support Couriant post
I have actually seen issues on this site where HP has provided a different driver
    and
I had issues with a Printer that would not work on vista and replaced the printer through the shop after proving to them that it did not work on vista and using there demo model and got that working on vista , any HP insisted it should work on vista and kept blaming my laptop - even though i had access to 3 different vista laptops at that time and they all failed
