I'm new to all this, so here goes. I have a Compaq 6400 running XP that is wired with a HP832C printer. I have a laptop HP dv9206 running Vista. Both computers share internet via Linsky WRT54GS router. My guestion is how can I share the Printer. Do I need to purchase something else? I did the Network wizard on the XP, sharing. workgroup names and all that. I'm lost on the Vista network set up. Can anyone direct me?

Terry, here is the kicker. I connected the laptop to the printer and it installed the printer. The printer will not print from the laptop. I tried with it connected by USB cable and with the printer disconnected from the desktop. The printer works great with the desktop. when the laptop was connected to the printer it was identified and installed and set as default--just would not print even a test page. Test page was sent to printer and had to be manually deleted. Any ideas?
