Hi,
I have seen lots of posts on sharing, but none quite cover this:
Computer A, with shared printer A, running Win XP Pro.
Computer B, with shared printer B, running Win 2000.
Both computers connected to the same wireless router.
Each computer can print to its attached printer.
Computer B can print to printer A.
Computer A cannot even see printer B.
Both computers can communicate using NetMeeting.
I would like to be able to print on either printer from either computer.
M$ firewalls are turned off. Both machines running Mcaffee firewall.

Are drivers for printer B installed on Computer A?

Is printer B usb connected? Configured for sharing?

Have you installed a driver on Computer A for Printer B and pointed it to LPT 1 on Computer B?

Having problems doing the install. In win 2k the driver was part of the install procedure / CDs. I do not find that on XP. XP appears to insist on being connected to a printer before it will let me look for a driver!!
Not sure how to point it to any port on Computer B. Just asks for the shared name. Cannot find the other computer in the add printer wizard. I tried the \\computerName\PrinterSharedName. no joy.
