Printer Spooler Services

Suddenly I cannot print, and I receive a message: The printer spooler service is not running. Help!!

Click Start>Run. Type in services.msc and click OK.
Scroll down to Print Spooler right-click choose Properties. Make sure Startup Type is automatic, turn the service on and click OK.

See if that gets you going.

Remote Procedure Call (rpcss.exe) also needs to be running first or the print spooler will not start. Status for Remote Procedure Call is also available from services.msc.
