Hello guys,
Thanks so much for taking the time to read my messages.
My printer takes forever to start printing. Now I am running Windows ME so I hope that doesn't have anything to do with it. When I clicked control alt, delete it said printer not responding, but if I just be patient and leave it alone it will print after about 5 minutes. What could my problem be?

Totally shooting in the dark here but have you tried to re-install the printer drivers?

What kind of printer BTW, just as additional info you might want to check their (printers) web site.

HP has the choice of raw, starting print after the first page is spooled or starting after all pages are spooled. The default is after one page. I imagine most printers are similar. Make sure it isn’t waiting for the whole job to spool.

Large graphics files for photo quality take a long time on any printer. The spooling process is complex for graphics.
