hi, i had to clean my lexmark73 all-in-0ne printer today because black wouldn't print and done what i was suppose to as far as lexmark site instructions, pull on belt to move cartridges to left and out of way, so when i finished and plugged printer back in the power light blinks and the 2 cartridges slam to the right and stay there, anyone know what that would be? thanks in advance

I don't think you were supposed to "pull" on any belts. Cleaning the print heads and/or nozzles is all done through a software interface. You may very well have disconnected something or even damaged it.

Thanks tolliac for reply, but on lexmark site it said to do so, and it happened to be the encoder strip that had disconnected from the cartridge carrier and i had to slide it into place and that solved my problem. so matter resolved, thanks. working fine now
