I have a acer aspire desktop running windows vista and just got a hp deskjet d1455 and am unable to get the printer to print. The computer says its printing but it won't. Nothing at all happens. I have all drivers and correct programs installed. Maybe I have a setting wrong? I am unsure. It will say printing or queuing or ask if I want to save the file but it will not print. Any suggestions or solutions? Thank You.

    click Start then Printer
once the Printer page opens look and see how many Printers you have listed.
especially if you installed Microsoft Office you will have at least 3 Printers listed.

the save to file feature of Office is to let you print at another location.

you need to make the HP Deskjet the Default printer.
once it has a Green Check Mark by your HP in the Printer page
then you can print a test page

Here is the support site for the HP Deskjet D1455 printer.

The "Solve a problem" and "How to" sections should be helpful to you.
