I asked this questions a while back with no luck so here it goes again.

Every time I start my computer my printer prints a page (just an odd character, nothing more). I am running W98, on a Compaq 667 and the printer is a HP952C (using the parallel port because of my scanner).

    Thanks

Have you checked tried not having it start at start up? Go to start>run>type msconfig>start tab>uncheck where it is listed.
