I have a Deskjet 970 series printer and a roll of paper 8 1/2" wide. I would like to feed one end into the printer and print a banner 30" or so long. So far, I have not found a program that will let me do this. Word, Pagemaker etc will not recoginze paper over 17" long.

Anyone have any ideas how to do this?
    Thanks
    Bill

Nope. I just use scissors and scotch tape.

You have to find a program that bypasses the Windows print drivers, some commercial banner printing ones may but they are not free.
Then they have to also support the printer model.
