When I try to print a word document that has bullets included in the document, the bullets come out as the number 3 with a circle around it. How do I get my printer to print out the bullets?

M$ Word? It's not your printer. It's a toolbar selection in Word. Should be just to the right of your center align, right align, left align selections. One option has 1,2,3, with lines to the right, the next should have dots with lines to the right, that's the one I think you want. If you don't see this on the toolbar, click tools, customize and all toolbar option will appear and then you can select bullets instead of numbers.

Hope this is what you meant.

I think the bullet you mention sounds like a custom font...

just remember that Word lets you pre-select various NUMBER styles and BULLET styles......not just the default ones....so maybe a custom one has become default somehow...?

Does your "bullet" look like this......
