Whenever I print an image with my Epson Workforce 615 printer, it comes out with blue & purple tones. I've tried the nozzle check & alignment with no success. I'm not sure if changing the ink cartridge will help or not, I'll wait until it is low enough to buy a new one. This happens from all my computers, so I know that it's not a computer problem. I am printing with Wifi, if it matters.

CORRECTION: Just printed from my Ubuntu laptop, came out fine.

Assuming the printer driver settings were the same in both Windows & Ubuntu, it more or less nails it as being a Windows issue. I guess Ubuntu is better at printer colour matching using defaults compared to Windows, but you didn't say what graphics application you printed from in Windows -- setting up that application might be the key to getting it right.

For example, if you are using Photoshop, you need to specifiy a printer profile before printing. Several profiles should have been installed along with your Epson printer driver - each one intended for a specific type of Epson paper (and using Epson ink, of course).

I printed from Word 2007. On my laptop it was LibreOffice Writer.
