Win 2000 WKS and an NT4 server. Using Jetdirect IP printing. Everyone logs in as administrator.

The problem is everytime someone prints to any printer, a print message comes up on a PC. Not the person that printed it. but someone elses PC. and they get all the print messages all day. But everyday the message is on a different PC. So everyday one person has to deal with clicking OK to the pop up screen all day. and the next day someone else will get it.

I think it has something to do with the log in. Just a juess but I think the first person that logs in in the morning will get the messages for that day. There has got to be a notify setting like in novell, but I cant find it. Please Help
    Thanks

Start, Settings, Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Services.
Find the entry for Messagner and stop the service. Make sure you change the startup type to manual. If that does not resolve the issue you may want to do the same thing with the Alerter service, which is in the same place.
