    Hi there,

I have been stuck with the above issue for the last couple of days and would appreciate some help asap. In reflecting on the above the comp. is at the point where it is continuously restarting. I was able to insert the installation/required disk it was asking me for earlier and was able to open up to a screen resembling safe-mode. However, I can no longer do this on my own or through "start-up repair".

If it is helpful, in reading the start-up repair screen and seeing, "windows cannot repair the comp. automatically" as well as looking throughthe "problem details" I see recall seeing possible registry errors such as, "rollback registry"

If this can not be fixed or is not a quick fix I am also open to the idea of reseting/reformatting the hard drive but only if I can recover some files using open-source software such as recuva or the like.

    Appreciate the help
