Private IP address

    I have a MN-100 router and every time I run the setup program it tells me that it has detected a private IP address is there something that is causeing this and is it something I can do
    to fix the problem

    What Operating System are you running and what program is saying you have a private IP address?

    Running win XP and when I run the setup program for the Microsoft wired base station MN-100 its saying that it has dected
    a private ip address

    Go into your Network Properties>TCP/IP Properties and make sure the "assign IP automatically" box is checked.
