Probably with Windows's font

    This seems like sucha noobish thing to ask, but hopefully somebody can provide a simple answer.

    I performed a system restore earlier today, but immediately I noticed the font on the start menu, and all the menus was different than before the restore. Here's an example of what the system's font looked like before and after the restore.

    Before:

    After:
    [​IMG]

    It's probably easier to diagnose the problem from the pictures than my ambiguous description. I have no idea how to fix this and it's severely getting on my nerves. Any help would be appreciated

    Right-click the desktop => Properties => Appearance tab => Advanced button

    Click the down arrow to select 'Menu'.
    Click the down arrow to select the font style and size you want.
    Apply
    OK

    From your images it looks like the one you don't want is Tahoma, and the one you do want is perhaps Arial.
