I'm trying to make some audio CDs for my Dad. His computer is using windows XP. I open up the folders where the mp3 files are stored and then select 'Copy to Audio CD'.

The computer then burns it through windows media player 9. The CD then works fine on the computer and is able to play the mp3 files, however whenever I put that CD into a stereo player then it doesn't work.

    Any suggestions?

Get CDBurnerXP, a good freeware burning program. When the program opens choose "Audio CD".

WMP doesn't burn audio CD's very well.

In order to play in players, you don't want the files to stay in mp3 format (for many players). Make sure you choose the audio options and that should convert them to the cda format that is needed. Then they should play in all players.
